EMPLOYER NOMINATION SCHEME VISA (SUBCLASS 186) OVERVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to obtain this Visa you need to:
1. Have the required skilled occupation – a wide range of occupations are eligible.
2. Have relevant work experience – most applicants need to have 3 years of work experience.
3. Become licensed or registered (if required) so that you can work in WA in your occupation.
4. Have a positive skills assessment.
5. Be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating.
6. Be under 45 years of age.
7. Meet the health requirement (not having a significant health condition).
8. Meet the character requirement (not having a substantial criminal record).
9. Sign the Australian values statement.
10. Have competent English.
11. Have paid back any debt owed to the Australian Government.
12. Not have had a visa cancelled or refused while you were in Australia.
